Additional information for residents of U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws, including California.
Interim version
Categories of personal information we collect
- Identifiers and contact information: name, email address, country and, if you provide them, phone number and postal address.
- Professional or employment-related information: company, professional title, website or LinkedIn profile and the context of your enquiry.
- Investment-interest information you voluntarily supply: indicative range, preferred sectors and timeframe.
- Authentication and security information: your account email and secure session data.
- Basic technical information necessarily processed to deliver the site securely.
Purposes
We use this information to manage and respond to your request, to grant access to the members' part of the experience, to evaluate business, partnership, investment and professional opportunities, to secure the site and accounts, and — only if you ask — to send occasional news.
Retention
Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months after our latest interaction unless a longer period is legally required. Account data is kept while the account is active plus a reasonable closure period.
Categories of recipients
Authorised Kaysoma personnel, and the contracted infrastructure service providers that host this site, its database and its authentication service on our behalf.
No sale, no cross-context behavioral advertising
Based on a review of this site's code and how we handle these records, Kaysoma does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by U.S. state privacy laws. For that reason, no "Do Not Sell or Share" link is provided.
Your rights
- The right to know and to access the personal information we hold about you.
- The right to correct inaccurate information.
- The right to request deletion.
- The right to opt out of any sale, sharing or targeted advertising — which do not currently apply here, since we do none of them.
- The right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
How to make a request
Use our privacy request page, or write to info@kaysoma.com. We will take reasonable steps to verify that a request comes from you, normally by matching it against the information already in our records, and we will not ask for identity documents as a first step. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf where the law allows it.
